Yet another post..

How do you know she is a witch?

Well, how'd you become king, then? The nose? Now, look here, my good man. No, no, no! Yes, yes. A bit. But she's got a wart. I dunno. Must be a king. And the hat. She's a witch!

Sets The Cinema Back 900 Years!

We shall say 'Ni' again to you, if you do not appease us. We want a shrubbery!! Ni! Ni! Ni! Ni!

  • Well, she turned me into a newt.
  • Found them? In Mercia?! The coconut's tropical!

Sir Lancelot

I'm not a witch. Burn her! Knights of Ni, we are but simple travelers who seek the enchanter who lives beyond these woods. Bloody Peasant! Well, what do you want? I have to push the pram a lot.

The Knights Who Say Ni demand a sacrifice!

…Are you suggesting that coconuts migrate? Why? You can't expect to wield supreme power just 'cause some watery tart threw a sword at you! We found them. Why do you think that she is a witch?

  1. The nose?
  2. It's only a model.
  3. And the hat. She's a witch!
Bridgekeeper

And the hat. She's a witch! What a strange person. Well, Mercia's a temperate zone! On second thoughts, let's not go there. It is a silly place.

Duh, I need a title for this...

Currently working on an applied illustration piece for Portfolio. It's actually a restart since I lost my flash drive and have to recreate it from scratch. But as often happens, it ended up being a bit better this time around. I've acquired more skill and patience with selection tools, which is much of the heavy lifting of Photoshop to begin with. Almost everything else just requires a little ingenuity and an eye for design.

So, I've always been pretty obsessed with rock posters and the unique/surreal style that they often exhibit. It would be a treat to get some jobs just doing rock posters in the future for awhile. I will have to post some of my all-time favorites in a future post, but for now here are some specifically concerning the band I'm focusing my project on, mewithoutYou. They have been practically my favorite band for several years now. Most of their posters are animal-themed and have an organic feel to them, as is characteristic of their music.

There are many more, but they're sometimes hard to find.

Just for kicks, here's my favorite of their t-shirt designs for further inspiration:

Will update on this project with snapshots of the process up to this point.
